So this just happened.
A girl I work with posted this picture saying how cute Steve-O and Chris Pontuis are.
Her friend posted a comment saying this.
No one said anything to him.
*scroll, scroll scroll*
Random comments about how cute they are, and how someone misses the girl who posted the picture. (Side note, why post that on a picture and not their wall/timeline? facebookannoysmegrumblegrumblegrumble)
Anywhosils, I ignored it for a bit. I don’t know him, let’s not start a facebook fight, right?
But as I’m just chilling on facebook, this picture and that comment keep popping up, so I decided to say something.
About a second after I posted that, the girl who posted the picture said
Which isn’t huge, but it shows that I made a point. So. hooray for that.
Side note, saying things to strangers, even on the internet, makes my anxiety skyrocket. I keep shaking and I can’t get my shoulders to relax. They’re scrunched up to my ears. ugh.
My point. Hating people for being gay sucks, but if no one says anything, nothing’s going to change. And if someone like me, someone who is about to have a panic attack because of a facebook post, can say something to fight the hate, goddammit you can too!
